So, with all good intentions, I start this blog up once again! I get on the PC every day - you would think I would take time to do this! LOL! The thing is, Facebook is the devil and I spend way too much time there updating it and adding stuff to it when not everyone has Facebook! So....my apologies! I think this time I'll actually follow through with upkeeping my blog!
So what's new you ask? Sooo much - probably why I haven't had time to write an update - ha!
We'll start at the top..
Nathan - I am so thankful for this man! He is so loving and dedicated to this big, beautiful family God gave us! My poor husband works 65 hour weeks with an hour commute each way! He is often tired, yet he still makes time to catch up with each child and given them their share of Daddy time. Mommy gets some time with him too... we are looking forward to a week this summer he can take off and RELAX!!
Jenna is enjoying high school and is volunteering at our local hospital in the L&D unit! I am SO excited for her and she LOVES her 3 hours she gets to go every Sunday. It's so cool that she knows what she wants to do with her life at this age. I know she will make a great nurse one day!
Wyatt & Garrett enjoy school as well and are both FULL blown involved in band. Wyatt plays percussion and Garrett plays the trumpet. Both their Spring concerts are coming up and they are super excited to play in them!
Jonathan is a sponge - soaking in anything I can teach him. He can now recite and recognize each letter of the alphabet and he is almost done learning Psalm 23 - the WHOLE chapter! He is FULL of energy and he truly does have a great personality that keeps us laughing often!
Judah is ALMOST one...just a few weeks! This year has flown and he hasn't stopped to complain! This lil one has kept me on my toes since day one - especially when he decided to crawl at 4 months and walk @ 9! He is into EVERYTHING and has no fear! I especially love that look he gives you as you tell him no when he is about to get into something he shouldn't! hahaha Oh the joys of being a mother...
Me? Oh yeah... Well - I am just about doing everything I can to keep up! I am now working part time from home which I LOVE! It was exactly the answer to prayer that we had been praying for years for. And as silly as it sounds, I actually enjoy the few huors a day that I "get away" and see immediate results with the help I am providing. We enjoy our new church - youth group and mom's/mens group that we are all involved in. And - the biggest news of all is that we were able to FINALLY buy a house here in PA. After a whirlwind year of having a baby and moving across country with a new job, new schools, new friends etc - we will finally be able to settle into a home, and into the schools they will graduate from and we are praying that Nathan will eventually be able to get another job much closer to home as well.
So - that's us in a nutshell.... Thanks for following our blog! Please feel free to comment as well...we would love to hear your thoughts!
