Hurrican IRENE!

So it seems one of the last few times I posted in this blog, we were about to encounter Hurricane Ike...What's up with us and the "I" storms?  Its been a few years and we're in a much different location this time around. Our biggest concern is wind because of all the BIG trees that surround our house, and flooding.

This is a look at our backyard from our bedroom window...

Our basement has been prone to flooding.  Its kinda like this attitude in the house like we know whats coming, so lets brace ourselves. 
The eye of this storm heads north and I know TOO many people that it will affect - so I am praying for the safety of all my loved ones in NY & NJ.
